That damn song...

...is stuck in my head now. It's embarrassing when you're riding in an elevator full of business suits and catch yourself unconsciously yet audibly singing: "America: Fuck Yeah!"

Why is it always the embarrassing ones that get stuck in your head? I'd always thought "Seasons in the Sun" was my own personal nadir, but now I'm not so sure.

For me it's that stupid Backstreet Boys song that was out a few years ago that was absolutely everywhere and you heard it once and it was in your head for days? Don't ask me which one because then I'll remember which one and it will be in my head for days. That and "Raindrops keep falling on my head". Crap. Now that's in my head. Thanks a lot. :-P

Yeah, "Raindrops" sucks all right! Then again, so does almost anything by B.J. Thomas. Did you hear that Burt Bacharach originally wanted Dylan to sing "Raindrops?" He politely declined, thank God.

These songs are insignificant next to the power of THE BANANAPHONE:

There's no way to get that song out of your head. Good luck.

You- light up maaaah life

This is the song I've been singing since John Kerry lost. :)

"Now my life's an empty stage where Honey lived and Honey played

And honey, I miss you and I'm bein' good
And I'd love to be with you if only I could"

Well, I don't know if I want to be "with" John Kerry.

"Honey?" Argh! I'd forgotten about that damn song! Thanks a lot, PE!

BTW, that Bananaphone song was truly insidious, Roger. You tempted me to "go nuclear" by posting "Steal My Sunshine" by Len, but then the RIAA would probably sue me.
