My New Favorite Senator
Dr. Tom Coburn, newly elected Senator from Oklahoma. Seems he believes that government should spend less wastefully and actually has the audacity to speak up about it.
Coincidently, he is also the subject of a Senate Ethics complaint because he is still a practicing doctor. Go figure.
(I hope Barry doesn't mind me filling in a little while he's on vacation...)

This guy has promise but I'm sure his peers aren't pleased with him.

You should have heard all the junk he had to put up with during the last election. Carson kept dragging out quotes that made it sound like he didn't care about OK.
But when you listened to the WHOLE quote, he was merely saying that the federal government has no business giving special attention to ANY state EVEN IF it happens to be Oklahoma.
I proudly voted for him.
