Look, that place is (supposedly) a disaster zone, and there is undoubtedly some liability issues involved when she gets malaria or whatever, not to mention the whole "shooting at the rescuers" thing (in lieu of flares, or whatever, i don't buy that one).

If there was only some way to sign some waiver that says "i won't sue or claim nothin and get the hell off my property!" then I guess she would have the right to stay in her home.

everyone elses guns in New Orleans though? hmmm, that's trickier, cuz if I got my lazy ass down to help, i might want one for myself. Are the looters gone yet? Jeez. See, they needed to sweep the place of the asshats first so the good, armed folks can roll in and help the needy.
