Cool!
On my way into work this morning, I saw a dead snake and a dead bat! The snake looked like he'd been run over about a hundred times.
I didn't take a picture of the bat. It was too gross.

How big was it? I can't recognize it as a native snake (probably because it's not 2-dimensional).

Granted, I'm more familiar with snakes of the South, but I couldn't place him either.

Actually I am really grateful that you did not post a photo of the bat. I pretend they don't exist. I've been doing that since my senior year when I lived in an apartment that apparently acted as a bat cave, because yes, twice, we found bats in the apartment. :shudder:

Ok, a bat I can deal with but a snake? I am not nervous of them (well, the non dangerous ones) but to actually see a snake? very cool. Wish it wasn't dead though.
In the UK, only the Adder is considered dangerous, but it doesn't always kill people. Not sure what that is (photo) , either.
Great find, but again, wish it wasn't road kill.

rite i think its really out of order the way people treat animals now and it is getting out of hand ! people need to sort it out coz der aint gunna b animals if dey keep on killing them. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :'(
