Lileks linked a great background story on this today.

The Islamic Republic of France...by 2030.

Precisely the reason that Le Pen (France) and Jorge Haider (Austria) are on the right track with their call to expell ALL non-European immigrants to that Continent forthwith.

The reason that such areas have "sky high" unemployment rates is because the people in those regions (largely from Third World spots like Somalia, the Sudan, etc) have few skills that are useful to a 1st World economy.

I remember LePen earned a spot in the run-off election for president well before anything of this nature had hit French territory. One shudders to think what the next election will bring.

A France with a backbone?

"I remember LePen earned a spot in the run-off election for president well before anything of this nature had hit French territory. One shudders to think what the next election will bring."

That's true, Le Pen isn't a really good guy at all, but his stance on France's immigration problem (specifically it's Third World Muslim problem), at least acknowledging there IS a problem and recognizing that the root cause of that problem is NOT France or French culture, but the low skilled and angry immigrants themselves.

Perhaps a more mainstream politician can co-opt this issue and use it to some real political advantage...so long as they then actually followed through on it after the election.

They should expel them all, but they won't. The United States should have sent all of the freed African slaves back to Africa ... but we didn't.

Why? For one thing, they don't WANT to go back. They are predators and parasites. They need naive victims, and they can't find those back home.

France will suffer as horribly as the United States has for turning away from reality and instead embracing baseless hope.

Some people are scum. They never overcome it.

This is more a clash of cultures than any thing else.

One could argue that many groups have had a hard time assimilating into American culture from the Irish, to Jews, to Asians, to blacks, but the rise of Islamo-cultism/Islamo-fascism among Muslims today puts that culture at odds with virtually every other on earth. Islamo-cultists have committed attrocities in the Sudan and in Kosovo against Christians, in the Mid-East against both Jews and Christian Arabs and in Kashmir against Hindus.

Education can overcome most of the disadvantages of a Third World birth, but very little seems to be effective in mass deprogramming people from violent and virulent cults like Islamo-fascism.

Heh, only on this neo-con site would nobody even oppose what I said.

I knew you were all Klansmen.

No, no I'm not. I;m sure nobody is either.

"Heh, only on this neo-con site would nobody even oppose what I said.

I knew you were all Klansmen." (Bailey Hankins)

Is that your lame attempt to disavow this; "They should expel them all, but they won't. The United States should have sent all of the freed African slaves back to Africa ... but we didn't," because the first statement is completely in keeping with most of what you post here.

But let not your heart be troubled, for it's also perfectly in keeping with the Left/Liberal in America's most cherished traditions. Robert Moses deliberately cut through neighborhoods in Queens and the Bronx to segregate blacks and Hispanics and designed the bridges along Long Island's highways to be too low for buses from NYC to pass under. He designed the NYC Housing projects, those drab, gray, concrete slabs based on a similar design used by the Germans in their Concentration Camps.

Liberal Mayors John Lindsey and Abe Beame used the Rand Institute to create false reports that resulted in the closing of Fire Companies in some of New York's busiest areas during the 1970s.

America's, especailly New York's, Liberal tradition is drenched in overt, racially motivated bigotry.

Moreover, "Neo-Con" is an artificial construct, made up out of whole cloth by former CPUSA members for those, like David Horowitz, who finally saw the light and reversed their field. Today Howowitz is a great American. His FrontPage Magazine and Heterodoxy have exposed Liberal/Leftist attrocities in both governemnt and academia. Folks like him haven't "killed the Left," it committed suicide over the past two decades, but Horowitz and his compatriots sure have made a difference...and to the good.
