It would free up Rummy for the VP slot that Cheney (pronounced Cheney, not Chainy) would like to vacate because of his rapidly failing health.
I think Dubya would welcome Lieberman on his cabinet.
Personally, I have mixed feelings about Joe, but I think he would handle the job quite well. And it would drive the Dems wild.
In the interest of full disclosure: I know the Lieberman's slightly from three decades ago when I lived in Connecticut and was politically active.
