Light at the end of the tunnel

In my personal/business life, that is. I hope to resume "Max Power" blogging in the very near future....

My dad died in 1973 upon which my sisters and I inherited 1/6 share each of the family farm in La Moille, Illinois.

During the subsequent years, we had many problems with the accounting received by the executor. My sister Meg would constantly tell me that when she finally got some things cleared away, she was going to sit down with all the records and expose the executor's shoddy work.

We sold the farm last November.

Meg never did sit down at that desk after 31 years of threats.

Just a form of warning about promises made but unkept!

Mal, thanks for the sobering reminder. It's done me good. :-)
