The Barbarian Invasion

Many thanks to our supreme overlord for his invitation and warm welcome. I will try to hold myself to his half-assed standard. Hopefully, between CRB and myself, we may end up with a whole...on second thought, let's leave that metaphor alone.

Though I am partly to blame for CN mathblogging, I promise not to indulge in any of that myself while I'm here. Honest.

In any case, I look forward to taking the new pulpit for a spin :) Should be fun times for all.

Hey look, I can hide things!

I, for one, welcome our new overlord.

Yeah, Adam...but whatsupwiv Ken? ;) Welcome Adam! :) Don't say you like stinky cheese, too! Ok, it's ok...I do,too. You're cool, then.

I saw 'Proof' last night with Gwyneth Paltrow, and you math geeks are insane! :D...but cool.

I'm actually embarrassed to admit that I saw Proof when it was a stage production in New York. But that was years ago, with a High School theater field trip. Honest.

OMG! You!!...so 'into' math!!, went on ...a ...bus???!!...to see 'Proof'??...ON STAGE??? You sat there on the bus feeling all 'special'as you were so great at math, didn't you???...and ...omg! ADAM! you should be embarrassed at your 'warm and fuzzies' on that bus.

Did you feel a certain amount of 'smypathy' and did you hope that you should get a certain amount of feelings of insanity??? because if you didn't ?..then you were not a genius at math?? lol!!

Did you act slightly weird after THAT stage showing of 'Proof' just to show solidarity with genius math geeks??? lol!

hahaha, yes. I have made a concerted effort to talk to my dead relatives ever since then, in the hope that doing so will help me nail my math exams.

lol! ;)

Adam, my only blogging advice is DON'T WATCH C-SPAN. ;-)

I actually saw "Proof" myself, when Jennifer Jason Leigh was in it. At least I had free tickets, though. ;-)
